Combined staircases

Wood is still a very popular material for interior staircases of living spaces, most often family houses. The reason for this is a long service life, simple renovation during damage, space saving and shape variability of the wooden staircase. We can not forget softening of the space and easy combination with other materials such as glass or stainless steel.

For wood staircases, choose harder wood, good design with high-quality fasteners, and avoid fast stair wear or creaking. Spruce, pine, birch, beech, oak, ash, maple, alder, walnut, cherry and rubber (hevea) are used to make wooden treads.
